    Concept Designs For
    Air New Zealand

    In 2006 Alyson was working in a boutique design agency in Shanghai, China when through BBDO Air New Zealand asked for creative viral, ambient, and print design for the launch of direct routes between China and New Zealand. Here are several of the print designs that Alyson created. The postcards were direct mail pieces where the top layer photo “China” peeled off to reveal “New Zealand” while showing a common element in the two otherwise very diverse cultures. It also was meant to attract Chinese visitors to New Zealand, many who had never heard of the country before, and thus a strong positive image of New Zealand was used repetitively. The concept of New Zealand coming through the traditional Chinese doors was also created by Alyson and later used as one of the final presentations.
